Chapter 2 describes the major official and voluntary bodies which together make up the institutional framework and international bodies - describing the organization's basic structures and aims and giving their key addresses. Chapter 3 summarizes the main points of law which may arise in industrial relations. A summary-given the complexity of the subject- it examines how the law impacts on the collective bargaining process, the extent to which the contract of employment protects employees, and finally looks at the various statutory rights conferred by legislation.
